Tarrant police executed the search warrant about 7 p.m. Wednesday at Post 113 on Pinson Street. Sgt. Jay Jenkins said the investigation began seven months ago after police received citizen complaints about illegal gaming taking place there.
Authorities sent a cease and desist letter in 2019 and American Legion complied. However, at some point, the machines were put back into play, Jenkins said.

The officers found the machine in a back room. They confiscated eight machines and and undisclosed amount of cash.
One person was arrested on drug charges. Jenkins said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
